The Borgo is the heart of Castelfalfi. Here we are creating nine retail units, a restaurant and a total of 41 residential apartments across three buildings.
Living in the Borgo, you will soon be part of a typically Tuscan community: peaceful and secluded when you want to be, but also able to immerse yourself in the life of the boutiques, hotels and cafés.
The 41 apartments will be divided between two buildings: la Terrazza and la Ghialla. La Terrazza connects two of the estate’s historic buildings, between the medieval Church of St Florian and the castello. La Ghialla is at the south end of the Borgo, at the foot of the castello, with views over the golf course towards Volterra.
You will be able to choose between one, two and three bedroom homes. The living areas will include a large, open, fitted kitchen, dining and sitting areas.
A number of the apartments will have their own external space – either a loggia, a terrace or their own private garden.
The current large communal gardens at the western end of the Borgo are also being regenerated. These will be formally laid out, with pines and lavender surrounding pathways and seating areas. The gardens will create a relaxing area for everyone to use, with spectacular views across the surrounding countryside.
