You might also like to visit the Via Gelsomino Ranch, just eight miles from the estate. They can provide everything you need to explore the endless hills on horseback.
And what could be more welcome in the heat of a summer’s day than a dip in the pool? Central Castelfalfi will have a variety of shared pools, including one for children.
You can even treat yourself to a day at the beach. The 65km drive to the Gulf of Baratti, with its aromatic pines and views of Elba, is an experience in itself, winding through charming villages and beautiful scenery.
Castelfalfi will also have its own spa. The thermal waters of Tuscany have drawn travellers since the Etruscan and Roman eras. in the Middle ages, people came here from across Europe to absorb the waters’ healing powers.
